As a designer, it always has been a dream to build my own design platform. So I came up with the idea of bringing the best price quality ratio on the market in terms of logo design. I wanted scalelogo to replace unreliable freelancers and expensive agencies by designing industry-leading logos.
People know and understand the importance of logo design. Nowadays, it's really hard to find good designers for a fair price, and I felt concerned about it too. In order to that, I thought of a streamlined model that will allow me to provide such a price. Therefore, I created an optimised onboarding process, that allows us to really understand the customer's needs with record efficiency. Hence, we built a team of sharp designers and sketchers that manage to design distinctive icons very efficiently.
What makes it a no-brainer :
By creating scalelogo, I believe I have co-founded an agency that will revolutionize the design ecosystem. It was my vision and purpose: create something never seen before and bring real value to the industry.
Let me know what you think of my landing page.
My first impression is that why do I need to see a dude talking to me when your website is about logos? I hire people to design logos for me all the time and if you want to pitch me your logo design services, I want to see your logos, not some dude talking to me. Especially when the video starts automatically, which is even more annoying.
"Let's Scale" is very odd wording for a CTA for a business that sells logos.
The floating "enter your message" thing is annoying and blocks view of your actual website. If I have questions and want to send you a message, I am capable of clicking some "contact us" link. And not closing that messaging thing when I click the X icon is just adding insult to the injury.
I find it a bit ironic that you pitch that you are a great agency of making logos, yet the icons in your "What makes us different" section are rather lackluster. Sure, I understand logos are not icons, but surely, if you want to say you can design amazing logos, why are you using such boring and generic icons?
Having those sections in "What makes us different" area move when mouse cursor is over them is confusing, as it looks they are clickable yet they are not.
The actual logos in your "Latest projects" section look good.
I like that you tell your story in the website. However, it's a bit confusing that in the FAQ you say "every design is handcrafted by one of our high-class designer, directed by Louis" when at this point, I have no idea who Louis is. This could be addressed by moving the introduction area more up. Also, I find it very odd how there is Google's logo in the introduction area. Are you saying you worked on Google's logo? If you did, tell that story. If you didn't, don't use their logo.
I find it odd that every single testimonial on the page says they are from two days ago.
When I move the mouse cursor away from the website, it shows me (an annoying) popup with a promotional code, which says is valid until November 25th. It's December 1st today.
Thank you for your feedback 🙂
Great website! Your skills as a graphic designer definitely show here! I do have a couple notes though.
I think "hassle free" and "unique logos" are redundant in terms of benefits you offer your customers. "Hassle free" is expected of any good service, and you already have many demonstrations of logos you've designed for other companies, so they should be able to see if your logos are unique or not.
I would also recommend putting more examples of logos designed on one page rather than 6. The arrow keys at the bottom may be hard to notice for some customers, so it might be better to just reduce the size and show more examples on the screen.
The popup that appears right as I click the video was also also slightly irritating, and it was hard to see the "X" to close it since it was light grey (blends in) and in the upper left rather than right.
I recommend you activate the popup based on the location of the mouse rather than time spent on site or if they clicked the video or not. For example, if the mouse is close to the X to close the webpage, then it would activate the popup. I've used this before in the past, so there are free apps for this.
Your video also autoplays (without sound) when I first load the site. I luckily didn't do this and just clicked on the video, but there would definitely be people that think something's wrong with their audio and turn it up before clicking on the video, which could lead to a nasty surprise that ruins their experience. So I would just keep the video unplayed until the user actually clicks on the video.
Furthermore, I have a suggestion that you should use AI in your product. Most people I know don't care about how the product was brought to them, only if there was a good end product. Some of the AI art generators (Stable Diffusion) now are fully capable of producing unique generations and are completely free and open source, especially when you have skills as a graphic designer and can make tweaks to the generated logos if they look too similar.
Furthermore, it would probably lower production times by a large margin so you could take on more customers or free up more time to do other things, as well as boosting customer satisfaction.
In fact, you could even incorporate AI into your website with so users could generate their own logos for a small price. Of course, without knowledge of graphic design like you, they'll produce worse logos, so you could use that as an upsell for more expensive services.
If you're curious, I'm currently developing an API for Stable Diffusion that can be incorporated into a website with no machine learning experience, so if you ever decide to incorporate a logo generator you can check out my project: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/evoke
