Hey all, I'am Alex, Software engineer with 20 years experience. Working on website monitoring platform: https://panel.issuedetector.com/
Looking for yours feedback to improve my product and make it better.
Current version features:
- Monitoring changes (title, description, h1, response code, canonical, content-type, redirect url, robots index). "Good for detect unwanted changes - when code changes, plugins added/updated, hacked, etc..."
- List of canonicals (can explore canonical to pages).
Crawled urls filters:
- URL
- Source type
- Content type
- Code
- Robots Index(.txt/meta)
- Depth
- Links count
- Title, h1: content, lenght
Detecting 19 issues:
- Broken links
- Broken canonicals
- Redirects links
- Slow pages
- Non https links
- Empty titles
- Dupe titles
- Short/Long titles
- Duplicate descriptions.
- Empty descriptions.
- Short/long descriptions.
- Empty h1
- Dupe h1
- Short/Long h1
- Not enough internal back links
- Too many external links
- Too many links
- No unique images
- With & No trailing slash

Love the idea and 100% excited for this!
Despite being a techie, there's so much friction that it makes it expensive (time-wise) to power through. I understand that you're building/iterating really quickly and trying to get feedback but the additional investment in contextualizing what's happening, setting expectations, and providing feedback on user action will help you get better and higher quality feedback.

Hi, i think it is really a great product but it needs to be responsive! I mean mobile friendly, i usually try to do as much as possible with my phone rather than a ipad or desktop, otherwise really great have to take a deeper look!

Hi, I love your product. However, I think you should remove the '@' prefix on the signup form. Additionally, the verification code you sent went directly to my spam folder. You may want to consider using a better email provider.

Hi, I tried with the same email (Outlook) and it went to the spam folder again. I can't figure out how to get the raw email in Outlook, by the way. However, I tried again with Gmail and it did get to my inbox folder.

Hmm, i using gmail smtp for codes, you can please send me raw email with headers?
Gmail SMTP isn't an ideal solution. I've been doing the same but recently been transitioning to use a proper email provider. One reason is to use SMTP for Gmail you have to turn on allow insecure app but if you don't send enough emails, they'll automatically turn it back on after so many day (I think 60) so your email might break without you knowing.
I'm in the process of transitioning to use mailgun for sending emails instead, they still provide SMTP access, so code wise there's little to change once you have your domain set up for sending emails.
Regarding UI feedback, the landing page is just a form, to signup. I personally wouldn't sign up to a service just on what someone says about a product on IH or Twitter for example, I want to see what the product offers from the website before giving over any personal details.
Thanks, yeah gmail smtp is temporary, in future will be changed to good email service or will deploy own mail server.

Currently looking for feedback for client panel:), starting work on landing page after will done some features on client panel.
For the landing page, you should somehow list all those features there! Otherwise, I can't tell what I'm getting into based on UI.
Also, consider adding an example image of what the end report may look like!

Not enough time for landing page :(, a lot of work on the platform itself!, I will try to allocate a little time every day to the landing page.
