Hello Friends,
Many people lack the routines, tools, and focus needed to produce exceptional work in their day jobs. This often hampers productivity and quality. To address this, I've created a solution to serve as a "personal work system" designed to simplify, streamline, and organize work, leading to better output at a faster pace.
I'd appreciate your feedback on whether the value proposition is clear and if the solution is easy to grasp. The app offers numerous benefits, and I want to ensure they're effectively communicated on the landing page.
Here is the link: https://www.floutwork.com/
Is the value proposition clear and easily understood? Your feedback is invaluable!
EDIT: I've incorporated much of the feedback from the comments and am continuing to make improvements. Thank you all for your invaluable support and input!
Looks clean. I'd suggest one sentence for the main header and one sentence for a subheader on the initial screen and then add a CTA button below the subheader. Right now there's too many words.
Too many words is a consistent theme I am hearing from others as well. I will try to shorten it for sure. Thanks for the feedback!
This is a great productivity tool, one I have been actually looking for a while. But I had to go through it two times to understand it. You might want to ditch your entire first section and put it into an about page. Start with your offering in your hero section itself with a short demo video. That is where most visitors will either leave the website or will scroll down. See if you can add some more CTa's and colors (only from a design perspective). Focus on showcasing only 3/4 key features on the landing home page.
+1, I had to scroll a lot to find what info i needed. Great advice here. :) Good luck on HN!
Thanks @Esus!
This is the kind of feedback I was looking for. Being so close to the product, I needed some fresh set of eyes so this really helps. Thank you!
Looks really cool. I really like how the use of the tool is presented interactively. Great work!
Thanks for the feedback @afrobludd!
Looks great man. Good luck out there. Would be cook to have an email reply assist using chat GPT so you can Select the incoming email, right click -> Respond with ChatGPT -> Write the prompt (as an exeample: Reply to bob in british english that we are ok to proceed with his offer however our stakeholders are concerned regarding the price and we would only be able to go ahead if you can drop the cost by 20%) -> Chat GPT will take the context of the text, apply your prompt, generate response and 2 options: 1 add more prompt or edit and send :) I would very much need something like this my friend.
This is a great use case @ObservatorTV. I will definitely look into incorporating ChatGPT in the Emails app. Thanks for the feedback!
Looks very good. I suggest you to add the main screenshot and some social proof along with CTA to the hero section.
Based on all the comments and your feedback, I am definitely rearranging the first couple of sections and the CTA. Thanks for the feedback!
Looks clean, like the theme. Would echo other feedback and say too much reading involved.
Thanks @yalun! Definitely going to work on the wordiness part.
This is something I always say but I'm sure you've developed this to make a job, what is the Job to be done of your app?
Make this your h1, not the product. Focus on the why, and how.
People don't care about the tool actually as long as it works.
Hmm I didn't even think about incorporating a JTBD statement. That's a good idea. Thanks!
I like the landing page a lot. One thing that could be nice is adding a flashy app showcase image or video in the first section with a CTA button under it.
Thanks @Zenithix! I will work on a video for the header section.
Hey,
Love your idea and the functionality, this is such a time saver and gives the utmost clarity to do day-to-day tasks.
Here are some of the changes that you can do to improve your landing page design -
Experiment with different layouts, currently it's very monotonous. I feel users will not be able to read a lot of words and understand the functionality in one scan.
You can add some type of imagery to convey the feelings like all the frustrations can be easily felt by users, if there's a person working on a laptop who is very frustrated, as humans we respond well to faces and emotions.
In the hero section, I guess the Problem can be your H1, The solution and introduction to Floutwork can be the sub-heading and download on Mac os be the CTA.
The rest 4 sections can be made into one and can be made into a slide that comes and goes.
You have aced the product screenshots, they look good, and tell everything about the product, adding them to a mockup would take them to another level.
Try to make the copy concise, and easy to scan.
This a big product, loved the idea and I can see how it can literally transform lives with boosted productivity. Looking forward to using it.
FYI: I run a design agency that specialises in UI and Landing Page design, do let me know if I could help you in any way to elevate the experience.
Thanks for this thorough and incredible feedback @porushpuri! Yes, I would love elevate the landing page. What is the best way to get in touch with you? Email?
I must say, the video and the site look nice! The value proposition is very clear and easily understood. The landing page effectively communicates the benefits of your solution. Plus, the introduction video engages the viewer and provides a concise overview of how your solution simplifies and streamlines work. However, your hero page can be done better with more animations or graphic.
Great job on creating such an appealing and clear landing page!
Thanks @tradao004!
