Need feedback on my website and mobile app

Hi fellow indie hackers, I need feedback on my website and webapp. I am trying to set the direction for the company for the next quarter and I will like to lead with user feedback from interacting with the product. Please feel free to roast it, praise it or just be plain objective about your feedback on it. Very much appreciated.

    Some thoughts:

    • Why does the site want my location? -> bad idea
    • full width images, does not feel good, too overwhelming
    • imagery and icons do not feel polished enough for me to trust the site
    • what is a "carter"?
    • when I enter a delivery adress (market street in sf) I land on a massively overwhelming page, when I click on something I end up in a log in form.

    My suggestion:
Go a step back, figure out what you want to actually do. Then look for companies that are sucessful with doing that (e.g. same day delivery), then copy their design & process and start from there. Your site feels a lot like you are trying to reinvent the wheel.

      hey Jan,
Thanks for the feedback. Are you currently hacking away at something fun?

I am working on Daito, a web-based 2FA Authenticator that enables large and small teams to easily manage and share 2FA tokens with others. No phone needed.

Interesting...so its all pc/mac based? Is email part of the token management process? Will love to learn more might be applicable in B2C too....Is this web3 tech?

No, you are getting this wrong. :)

Imagine Google Authenticator, but better, web-based, and for groups of people that want to share 2FA tokens.

    2 things.

    1. I feel everything on the site is very large; I would scale down a bit to get more content per screen.
    2. I think you need to decide who your leading target group is and then focus on that for your front page. You're trying to focus on both target groups for the front page, and it becomes confusing.

I'm growing the user base, but 0 paying customers yet. I'm learning a lot, though.
