Need feedback on the landing page.

Hi indie hackers!
For the past 6 months, I was working on my inventory management software for the small online store.
This is simple and easy to understand inventory management product for small online retailers that don't have a huge budget to pay for expensive and full of unnecessary features software.

Would you please visit the landing page and share your thought about it. What do you feel about it, is it too confusing?

Here is the link: https://byteconn.com

Thank you very much in advance!

    Not enough small pretty pictures.

First thing I'd want to see is icons representing products. It looks too much like geared for an accountant. Who's actually the purchasing decider? Probably small biz owners. They want simplicity and pictures.

BTW, huge market potential - release app version on Google playstore, this marker is dead for competitors. Massive direct acquisition there. I know cause I've looked.

My 2 cents, some repeating others so sorry about that:

    1. You seem to have 2 logos. One is the rectangle at the top left and one with the circles that is also used as favicon. If you stick with the upper left one, just make sure it is not blurry.
    2. You need just one call-to-action button, not two. And it has to be more prominent. Try contrasting color like orange, and make it bigger.
    3. The text on the CTA should say what the value, not what is the action. Try things like:
      Start Managing Your Inventory Now
    4. You can add some re-assuring message like "no credit card needed" or "start 14 days risk free trial" under the button
    5. You have the name ByteConn in 3 different fonts - upper-left logo, main hero title, and welcome message just under the fold.
    6. The hero message doesn't have to repeat the name, but rather the value. Try making 2 lines, one with main message and smaller one with a little details. For example:
      Main title: Simple Inventory Management
sub title: Never lose track of any item in your store
    7. You can try and bring the product image above the fold. Just make sure it is not blurry
    8. The second section section should be named Benefits and broken into little tiny pieces instead of the large paragraph that you have there. You can add an image or an icon next to each such digestable value. For example:
    • Keep detailed inventory information of each item
    • Search your inventory
    • Get total value of your inventory at a glance
    • Simple and friendly UI
    1. Don't use the word "we" so much ("our service", "byteconn is the perfect solution"...). Instead tell the user what's in it for him. See examples in #8 above.
    2. I would try to stick with 3 plans, and make one "best value" or "most popular"
    3. "subscribe newsletter" is grammatically incorrect.
    4. make login and signup a little more button like and less like menus

    Hope you find this helpful,
    Good luck!

Just my two cents here. It would be a nice addition if it had API connect to MWS. - That, plus those prices would be a hit! With MWS = enormous potential.

    • Like @jaryl said, the hero has a lot of wasted space.
    • The first thing that stands out in the above fold content is the Home button since it's black. I'd change some aspect of your CTAs (background color/font weight etc) so that they stand out first.
    • I'd also change the styling of the sign up button in the header to attract more attention
    • The header animation is super distracting. It's also clunky when you scroll up and down
    • The second section with "Welcome to..." is very hard to read. Consider breaking that large paragraph into smaller more digestible sentences/sections
    • The buttons on the pricing cards should say the action that happens when pressed instead of the pricing category name.

Feedback just on the design, not the product:

    • a lot of wasted space on the hero, in fact for me the background is a bit too distracting
    • text shouldn't span the entire width of the page, unless it is large size, otherwise readers have to scan left to right, which is tiring
    • your product image is blurry, and does not show your product in the best light
    • call to action buttons can be a bit more striking, in general you should use contrast to draw attention to your CTAs
    • like what @innov8or said, you'll need more pictures to showcase your app

Perhaps you can look at what Polymail did with their landing page:

    Good luck with ByteConn!
