Need feedback on the site

Here is my product - valycs.com. Could you please review the landing page and share your feedback?

The idea behind the product is to help software teams ship faster via analysis of software metrics. We provide metrics from different sources - Jira, Git, CI/CD and etc.

Start with your biggest value prop at the top, not a feature. If it's "Ship Faster", then that should be your main headline at the top instead of "Delivery Debugger".

This is a very cool idea. When I was a product manager, our engineering team would review process metrics every 2 weeks (e.g., sprint completion rate) in order to increase productivity.

Of the 30+ dev metrics, which are the most important 2-3? I recommend focusing on that. I can imagine reviewing those critical metrics after each sprint, but we probably wouldn't review 30 for each sprint because it's too much to process.

Even more importantly, what am I supposed to do with those metrics, and how can I see realize value from reviewing them. For example: "weekly active days" could fluctuate for a variety of reasons. What is an optimal number, what should my team do differently to reach it, and how does that translate to value (e.g., higher quality code, more story points delivered, etc.)? When I clicked on "use cases", that's what I expected to see. But instead, I saw more metrics that could be tracked.

Finally, I wish there were an email sign-up form to stay informed without requesting a demo. I'm not in the market for it now because I am not working with a large engineering team, but I would want to stay informed about the product.

I got your point about use cases and I agree, thank you! Do you see anything else?

    Hi there,
Sorry for being blunt but there are a lot of things that didn't work for me:

    • I'm a CTO, I should get what you sell in 3-5 seconds. It's more like 3-5 minutes now.
    • Too much wording.
    • No Video/Screenshots of the solution.
    • No customer success quote - "I'm Jonathan and since I've been using valycs, we've identified and solved bottlenecks in our CI/CD allowing us to deliver faster!"
    • Pricing? I don't want to waste my time on something I won't be able to afford.

    Hope this helps,
    Jonathan

I would include actual screenshots of your product in order to make clear what your product actually does. I also do not find any information for the pricing on your page and would like to see more information on that point.

I've just added a pricing page.

I found broken links on https://www.valycs.com/solutions/for-engineers
All engineering data where you want it : https://tilda.cc/use-cases/feed-engineering-data-into-any-tool
    Engineering reports: https://tilda.cc/use-cases/engineering-reports-and-feed

Also in the footer under RESOURCES the last item looks like you mixed up the title and the link:

I feel embarrassed :) Thank you!

    • I would space out the information a lot more. It feels like there is too much going on
    • I would move the Github/Jira/... grid down and instead maybe start out with a screenshot of your software instead.
    • What is your primary CTA for the page?
    • The second to last screenshot in the image slider for some reason took a lot of time to load
    • The screenshots jump around quite a bit when scrolling through, maybe try to make them at the same height
    • I get this big table with an overview of all the things it could do for me or other roles in the company, but at this stage I'm primarily interested to know what the product does exactly, so maybe one or two lines of text combined with a screenshot for every major feature would be helpful

What is your primary CTA for the page? - trial request

I'd maybe make better use of your product images to show the product - maybe start with a product image next to your intro so I can see what it is - I had to make a bit of an effort to read the text in the images and try and understand what the charts were because of their size.

Because the images are in one block, they're a bit hard to take in all at once and they're apart from the text explaining the value. Maybe show the different graphs one by one instead as your product page alongside the value of each them gives so I can imagine using them.

Thank you everyone, we've updated our website.
