๐Ÿ  Need feedback typedesk's homepage

Hey IH peeps,

Just refreshed our homepage and features page at www.typedesk.com and thought I'd ask for some feedback.

A word of intro: @ typedesk, we want to make canned responses fun, user-friendly & collaborative to increase teams' productivity!

Our product is not something that always clicks right-away (is it a plugin, a web-app, an extension...) so I'd love to know if our offering comes across clearly.

What do you understand from what we do? What make typedesk different? Would you have any suggestion? Happy to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for the ๐Ÿ’š

Michel

    Hey guys,

Thanks for your awesome feedback! I have reworked the copy and was hoping to hear your thoughts. I tried to make the value proposition and pain point clearer, here's a link to the new design:

That is a very good looking site, pretty clear to me with the video what it was about.
I'd like to see a link to the extension though without having to sign up.

You have some minor spelling issues: https://app.pagewatch.dev/e6cbb2be4b8ceee9c6d092d9025c28101dba0893/dashboard

    Hey @orliesaurus

Just wow! Thanks, it's really hard to get perspective on what you do when you are running as a small team like ours. Having a fresh, new look on our page definitely brings out interesting points!

Will update the page by next week, everything you mentioned makes sense, a couple of points however are on purpose, but I agree with 99% of your comments. I do have to rework the copywriting and the titles (it's hard, isn't it).

I've subscribed to your channel BTW!

Will keep you posted when the page is updated.

Yo Michel, glad my video was well received, ๐Ÿ˜ I love doing this for the community AND I get to learn more about how people build products and what they're working on: I am going to tell a few friends about your product they could use it to make their life better at work! Speak soon

Here's a video recap to help you out!

I love this idea for a tool, branding is KEY in customer support and automating replies makes life 100x easier!

    • H1 is good but you need to know what canned responses are, otherwise people would just leave - you could also say something like, "Forget copy-paste, automate repetitive responses with our tool", H2 can be improved also
    • Instead of how to use the tool, that's for onboarding, explain who would benefit and what problems it solves
    • Don't repeat yourself, you've got way more important things to say
    • Lack of profile pictures and stars in testimonials: Do add it makes it look more authentic
    • Use data point to reinforce why your product makes a difference
    • Use caption where necessary to explain what a user is looking at
      and btw...
If you have a browser extension btw why not link it directly somewhere

Would appreciate a YouTube sub if this helped <3
