Hi Edison, your profile looks great. I'm intrigued. Actually, I have a flash fiction that's such a thriller. I am a creative storyteller with over six years.
The BREASTLESS WOMAN OF LAGOS is the story of a young woman in rural Lagos is loosing her feminity because of what her father did to her. She's working against her biological clock and is fast becoming a strange movement.
It still in its original form, but I'm looking at telling the story on screen. It'd be more appealing and fascinating that way.
I don't mind if you could share your perspective on how this can be adapted or the best form it could be presented. Thank you.
Hi...
Thanks so much for reaching out — your concept is definitely intriguing. The Breastless Woman of Lagos sounds like it has powerful emotional depth and social commentary, and I can see how it could really resonate with audiences, especially when visualized on screen.
There are definitely many ways to bring a story like this to life... animation, live action, motion comics, or even a stylized visual narrative with voiceover. Each format offers its own strengths, depending on what tone and message you want to emphasize. For example:
Animated short film could allow for more symbolic storytelling and visual metaphor, which might suit the emotional and surreal aspects of the story.
Live-action short could ground it more in realism, potentially making the impact raw and immediate.
Stylized animatic or motion comic might be a faster and more budget-friendly approach while still capturing strong visuals and voice-driven narrative.
Like I mentioned, there are many ways to represent an idea — it really comes down to what you envision and the kind of message you want to convey
Best,
Edison
Thank you. I am a creative storyteller who keeps churning out stories like this, I don't have the means to explore these parameters yet, that's why I'm looking forward to sell the right to any one or firm who would love to own it.
Once again, thank you for the breakdown, I have a better insight into it, now.
Hey! I'm also an artist. Would you be interested in helping out a website for illustrators? Looking at your portfolio I think you would actually be a prefect fit
Hello Edison,
I am currently looking to promote artists like yourself for one of the projects I am working on. Where is best place to contact you to give you more information on this.
