Need help on hosting and e-mail

Hi, I am doing PE/VC database project privateequitylist.com.
I have hosting+e-mail on GoDaddy, but recently it started lagging.

Can any recommend a good hosting + e-mail solution?
I want to go with Amazon (hosting) + Microsoft (e-mail).

Are there any other great services?
