Need help with advice on creating subdomain for separate landing page
Hi, my name is Toshit Garg and I run this saas https://convertixo.com.
We are planing to create a separate subdomain to target different audience, with a new landing page, I have some doubts about SEO.
Can you please help with these 2 questions, I will really appreciate your help.
Is it hurtful for SEO if we create a separate sub domain for a different landing page to target different audience for our saas and redirect some of the urls of some blogs like newsubdomain.oursaas.com/howtocreateawebsite to oursaas.com/howtocreateawebsite
Basically the new sub domain does not has those blogs but thiose links do not exist hence we redirect to the main website
Will google rank these blogs as from subdomain?
Will the sub domain have separate dr or will it link with main as it’s just landing page for separate audience?

SEO of a subdomain depends on the link structure and content similarly
If you cross link both subdomains frequently, that might as well be one site
If landing pages are very similar withe small variations you might get only one of them promoted
Basically think like a human will I considered these two the same site or two sites?
You can use 100 subdomains for one site
Or you can have two different sites on two subdomains, ranking wise they would share only the extreme points, if you have spam violations and if you have really high PR
Hi Toshit, Creating a separate subdomain can be effective but it might impact your seo compared to your subfolder. About the landing page, consider about creating a subdomain on your primary domain while also maintaining the URLS of your blogs.
