Need help with App Design Styles
Hey all. Things are going well still building my app SnapMob ( I dont know why I jumped in here like you all know me, but it feels safe here...maybe that's why)
- I got a few questions I could use some help with. I need to change my app design, but I can't afford to hire an outright designer. The best I can do is give me developers some app icons, and templates. I know the feel/style I want, but I was hoping to look over some templates and styles to give as recommendations to the team. Is there a website that I can go to look at App design resources? I want to go towards the Waze/uber eats look and feel. I have the bargain bin going on right now, but I think if I give my development team some styles they can work with it. Here is the current app link for people who want to look at it.

Yeah, there are a bunch of sites you can get UI design inspiration from. These are my favorite sorted by how often I use them:
Here are search results for "Uber" on Dribbble, maybe you'll find some inspiration here: https://dribbble.com/search/uber
Also, a nice thing to do on Dribbble for inspiration is to find a designer whose designs you like and to see shots (designs) they like. Often you'll see a ton of nice things there.
The main caveat about such sites is that pretty often you will see designs made by designers for designers. Such kinds of designs are not solving any problem. So I always ask myself whether this design solves the problem.

I go to dribbble alot, but I don't know how to enter the conversation. It looks like often the people there are pitching both dev and design. I just need design. I don't even know if design can be separated from dev.
