Need input on our Sign Up Process & Free 7 Day Trial
If you visit our website www.socialshark.com and decide to move forward with signing up with our 7 Day Free Trial, we've tried to build out a signup process that allows us to capture a potential user's email & information first, so we can email drip them later if they decide not to take the next step.
My issue is that only 28% of the people who fill out Step 1, move forward to the free trial which involves the user entering in their credit card information. One thing I've decided to try today is add our "how to" video popup on the live chat so they can get an idea as to how powerful our software is.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? We're using intercom.io as our chat bubble software and it's really awesome.

So here was my first experience on the 4-step sign up form.
Once I encountered my details and created a password there was an error in that the passwords I selected did not match, so I made sure to re-type carefully my passwords and then the page just stayed loading. I waited for about 30s before I refreshed the page and tried again, but then it said my email was already in the database and couldn't go to step 2! 🤔
So I tried again but with another email and this time I had no errors submitting and the same load, time problem happened! I waited for 15s ...then 30s....5 minutes....and as I am writing this right now its still not going to step 2! 😟
Wow ok thanks. We'll get that looked at and fixed today. What browser were you using? We're getting sign ups but not converting as many as we were so glad you found this.
