Need quick landing page feedback

I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice on the landing page for ReelCards. My friends and I came up with the idea and decided to hackathon together a site with Carrd over the weekend. We plan to start marketing and trying to drive sales this week, so any feedback you have would be great. Don't hold back (:
Thank you!

    OK, let's get into it.
For starters I love the idea and you are very close. Right off the bat I liked the initial experience. First impression was very positive.

    • I don't like the gradient background color but that's just my opinion.
    • The video loops. I don't mind it playing automatically since it's muted. But I don't like it looping. However, the video is FANTASTIC! You made me want the product immediately.
    • Your "How it works" section is a technical explanation instead of a sales pitch. Save the "How to" for after purchase. Instead, show "How it works" in terms of the user experience. Something like, "Take a video and we'll make it into a card", or something better. The "How it works" should capture the essence of the experience and not the nuts and bolts "How to" of a technical manual.
    • The "Buy Now" button is too big and round IMHO. Use Google Search to find other websites that are well designed and imitate their aesthetic.
    • The best thing that caught me was the video. Especially the questions that the child was asked because it prompted such sweet answers. Do you suggest questions? That might be a value add. The right questions make all the difference. Guiding the user as to how to create an effective video might be helpful. Perhaps you could even include a library of example videos showing the results of asking the questions you suggest. Just an idea - but the video killed me!
VALUE YOU OFFER THAT I WANT:
If you can help me capture such a heart-felt message for someone I love on a special occasion then I'm all in and I'll give you my money.
BOTTOM LINE: Yes, go forward. Excellent! The emotion of the video made me feel like I could accomplish a much more meaningful gift for someone I love. That essence, that you help people accomplish the giving of something more special, is the key element of your offering. Your value is this meaningfulness and not the technical accomplishment of your product. The technical can get in the way.
Good. Good. Good! Go get 'em!
One more thing. I love this line:
"Your Dad doesn't want another cheesy Father's Day gift.
Give a card worth giving by creating a memory worth sharing."

Thank you for the awesome feedback. You gave me a lot to think about. I will start by improving the sales copy and saving the instructions for after the sale is made.

Why complicate life with NFC? (And lose potential customers)

Without audio I can't get the video, nor fully understand from the rest of the copy

Is this just a site that I push the video to?
What do the cards designs layer have to do with the videos?

    What do I "Buy" really?

Thank you for the feedback. I'll try to get the video to play with sound by default. I was trying earlier but ran into some issues. I'll also work on adding some content to make what we are actually selling more clear.

I wouldn't play the audio by default. I liked it playing by default on mute. IMHO.

      2. 1

I mean I browse on mute by choise at the moment and is statistically high for non commited interactions, so it would be good to communicate by visual means not just audio if possible
