Need some advice on building a platform that requires Facebook app
I have just recently begun working on my idea of a SAAS platform for helping online retailers get more out of their customers . This service is primarily going to be dependent on a Facebook app. I have always known Facebook's strict policies regarding app approvals.
With no registered company in place, should i focus on building the platform first or should i first gather everything that is necessary for getting the app approved ? If yes, for a solo developer what is it going to take to get an approval from Facebook for the app?

I don't have experience with how to get approval for the Facebook platform. But in general I'd say its a pretty good idea to figure out some of the hard problems first.Or figure out the un-answered questions.
You know you can make an app but you don't know as much about the facebook process. It would be terrible if you built out this whole awesome app and then found out you couldn't even launch it on their platform.
I think you want to de-risk things as much as you can every step that you go. If you only have to look into it enough to know it's possible and that you can do it, then maybe thats good enough.
