Need some validation for my idea!

Hey everyone!
My name's Sidney, I'm a web developer. My team and I would like to understand better the struggles of professionals when it comes to applying for jobs/projects - maintaining a professional profile in particular. As a professional myself, I’ve experienced lots of pain points but I want to validate these before we come up with a solution.
