Hello fellow Indie Hackers, I hope the title got your attention! I have seen a number of posts here on indiehackers where people have talked about which stacks to use or which services or clouds to run on and I wanted to contribute back to the community.

I am a Sr. Developer Advocate for Amazon Lightsail at AWS. For those of you who don’t know what Amazon Lightsail is, Lightsail is a VPS provider with several dozen application and operating system blueprints. What’s different about Lightsail than other AWS services is that it packages together the compute, storage, and data transfer allowance all into one bundle at a predictable monthly price.

Lightsail aims to achieve simplicity and allow for speed of deployment of your applications (more about that here). Simply deploy a blueprint instance, add a static IP, and away you go!

I’d love for you to give it a try, see if it fits your needs, use it for dev/test, or even for your MVP before moving to something bigger if needed (I would love to hear the use-cases!)

How can I get AWS credits?
