Background
I am a software engineer and passionate entrepreneur seeking a motivated Designer and Front-end developer to join the team and help us build Botsea Inc. We are building the trading platform of the future. From powerful trade and automation tools to portfolio analytics our North star is empowering the modern era of traders with institutional grade software to help make better decisions and gain a stark advantage in the markets.

Desired technical skills
My co-founder and I spent the last 5 months building out the baseline tech for the product, doing design work, finding the brand identity, doing heavy market research, competition analysis, and much more. I'm ready to build the team to build something people love and that can scale. On the technical side of things, we are looking for the following experience points to fit in with our stack.
REQUIRED
- JavaScript
- Typescript (or solid experience with typed languages)
- React
- CSS
- NodeJS
- Figma / Sketch
PREFERED
- Unit tested code
- AGILE development experience
- Proficient with GIT version control
- Worked on code used in production
- Portfolio of UI/UX design experience
OPTIONAL
- General server side dev experiance
Compensation
We are trying to build something great that customers love to use and team members love to be a part of.
Compensation is a mix of equity and salary that can be customized and negotiated privately. I want people to love working with me and own what they build so plan on getting generous amounts of equity stake depending on the position you end up filling
