Need your feedback on idea.

I finished college this year. I'd say personally furniture was not the problem for me but books. College purchases in general are very seasonal. I still have books I purchased for specific courses I can't do much with.

I like the idea. How seasonal is this? I can imagine there to be long periods of low usage and spikes around the start of term. What's the revenue model? How often do you expect customers to use the platform over their student lifetime?

You could probably work with universities/colleges or their student body organizations for effective marketing. Maybe even include a kickback for the school if they put it on the bulletin boards.

I'm no longer a student, but the idea sounds interesting. Back when I was studying I barely had money to buy furniture for my student room, so I used what was already in there. But I remember a lot of my peers used to go to IKEA to buy stuff for their rooms. There were also second-hand stores and FB groups that served the same purpose.

I guess it depends on how your platform will make this process easier (and maybe cheaper?).
