Hi gang,
I need help finding a target audience for a digital whiteboard prototype (screenshot: https://gyazo.com/5efe95115c81c20386551dfc48ca64ef ) I have been working on for fun.
Online digital whiteboards are not new (miro.com, mural.co, whimsical.com to name a few) but it is a type of product I enjoy working on so I would like to find a use for it if I can.
I would like to pick your brain:
How could I make this product more unique?
Can you think of an underserved niche this product could be used for?
Examples:
Miro and Mural show the users what they can do with the tool through board templates.
Whimsical has identified a few high level use cases (sticky notes, mind maps, flowcharts, wireframes) and have launched "subproducts" based on the same software.
I think Miro, Mural and Whimsical are still too generic, it is hard for them to own a specific word in their users's mind because they can be everything to everyone.
What would be a great beachhead market for this type of product?
(by the way, I am looking for a non technical co-founder interested in working on Future of Work stuff).
Thanks!
If a teacher and student can write on a whiteboard for remote teaching sessions ( using iPad )
Yes this is a great use case! I will need to make it even easier to use, and make it touch friendly.
Take a look at https://creaceed.com/inko
Looks like, I think remote school is an interesting idea although I would like to keep it in the "work" domain because my other products are in the Future of Work space.
Can you make the product in such a way ( API..) that no code developers can easily integrate in their stack ?
Thanks for the question. What use case do you have in mind? I don’t understand how a “no code developer” would use this?
