Neumorphism or Classic Design?

Hey IndieHackers 🥰,
I have been building 7todos, a task board for people with multiple projects.
The main purpose was to help me to get a better overview of all my projects and their tasks, at once. It's been ongoing for about 2 months ~ now.

A few people joined as well which is great 😌
But I also heard that some hate Neumorphism so much that they would not even try it out because of that.

So I tried out a different design approach, which is the first image above 👆
Kinda the standard design you see. It is a mockup I created to validate the idea.

What do you think?
Does it matter?
Should I care?
Implement the option to switch between designs?
