Neumorphism! What are your thoughts?

Are you referring to the theme in particular, or the style in general? Personally, I don't like either. The style looks cold and unwelcoming to me and reminds me of the sterile environment of a dentist, or a kitchen tile backsplash.

We had something like this here years ago. It's just like it was renamed. I personally don't like this trend and like a more polished flat design.
Design usually ends up coming around in full circle :/
Yea, I totally understand tho. It seems to be one of the more controversial branches of UI design atm.
At first, I was like WOW I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
But it's faded a little bit.
At this point, I think it would be really nice touch to add some neumorphism within an app. But only occasionally and as makes sense. Perhaps to call out a particular element of some sort.
TL;DR just like with any new thing, it can be overdone but I do like it.
It has a strange simultaneously cold and warm feeling for me. I feel it will get better once a few people try to apply it to real products. But who knows, maybe it's just a passing trend!
Your suggestion to add it for emphasis of certain elements is interesting... I'd love to see it applied on future products! :D
