New addition to our hardware SKU's - Yuktix SKU023 / V3.

Recently we have launched new version of our SKU023. SKU023 is a our hardware series which use low power micro-controller and can work on a Li-Po battery for more than a year. Earlier it was configured to use only one type of communication, but with time we realize that different scenarios even for the same product need different communication option. So we tried making SKU023 more modular, so that we can simply swap the communication module, upload new firmware and we are ON.

The latest version of SKU023 - V3 is a hybrid powered device i.e. use both solar and battery and thus make it most suitable for off-grid un-attended monitoring device. With option to use different communication option, it also allow us to deploy a network of sensors ( WSN - Wireless sensor network ). Below are some of prominent features

1. Low power - When active consume only 5 mA ( have one active LED ), while transmitting - 30 mA and during sleep < 30uA ) with sensor attached.
2. Hybrid power - Have a on-board BMS ( battery management system to match the charging curve of battery ), solar power charging and 12V DC power supply.
3. Modular - different sensor card, different communication cards. Be it a soil moisture card with 3 sensors for sensing at different depth or a micro-weather station or a soil moisture with sub-Ghz / LoRa creating a network and going more hyper-local.
4. Direct mounting in the IP67 enclosure.
5. Require small solar panel for charging ( 3-4 hour of sun-light is sufficient for full charging of the battery ).
6. On-board SD card and RTC.

This SKU will help us enter into manufacturing phase, where we can get the cost of PCB and final product lower and provide our solution in a OPEX mode.
