Looking at my Google analytics page views, I've been seeing for the last few months now that people are making it to my checkout page quite consistently. However, I think the design of the page was not inspiring confidence in the product or security of the desired payment.
I decided to redesign the checkout page today in order to make it look cleaner, more modern, and inspire more security and trust. I added a nice gradient header to brighten things up, and I added a PayPal badge to inspire trust and security.
Here's a look at old and new minus the light PayPal button above the credit card inputs because Braintree insists on showing that on dev even if you're not using it: If you want to try the real thing, head on over to www.PenSignal.com
The new one is better but the old one looked good too.
I know nothing about twitter (never used it) so don't take my feedback too seriously. I was wondering if it is possible that your free version is too good to upgrade. Something like this: your customers go to the checkout page, think about the purchase and then conclude that they don't need to upgrade because the free version is good enough for them.
Thanks for that feedback, Luqa. I think you're right that my free version is probably too generous. I will be cutting it down in a couple weeks when I return from break.
Looks much better! In the green header piece there is a lot of empty space but I think you can easily fix that.
I quickly redesigned another option here https://imgur.com/2n52p83
• Made the checkout a bit bolder - I think the font is too light
• Added text under Signal Pro, Give your content a competitive advantage - you already use that text in your pricing section on your site. It helps it tie it to your pricing page ( I would also change the background of your Pro pricing header to this gradient green so it ties to it a bit more.
• I moved the pricing under it make it easier to read. Also added the words Total so it confirms there are no other hidden fees. Just to put the purchaser at ease a bit more.
Oh wow that's awesome of you. Thanks, I'll be in contact.
Glad to help.
