Finally the new site is up. Let me know what you think so I can improve it.
You can compared them here.
The actual.
The old one.
Thank you !
Love the new website. Huge improvement since we see you last update.
All the best to your next milestone @Michael_Andreuzza
Hey Felix !
Thank you so much, that means a lot.
I am still working on the logo... and some typography....and change the Material and Tailwind color pickers.
But getting there.
Thank you so much for letting me know that you like it. It means a lot.
Hey man, nice site! But why do I need to go across the whole screen to use burger menu? Keep it the same side as the button
I am working that still. Can't make up my mind...
Wow! A huge improvment! Can't wait to see it grow π±! π
Thanks Brayden, me neither π .
Looks awesome my man! Such an improvement from the old one.
I love the font choices and thing yo unailed the shadow-effect (can sometimes look too much/tacky)
One comment is, your header-image (that purple pattern) looks a little blurry to me? I am on an imac so mayb my res is quite high and making it so, but maybe worth using a higher-res image?
Thanks Kieran! How n8ce words.
Ok, you know? I have been fighting that background for a week already.
I am working with it in Figma and when I use the SVG I can see the ghost lines...is a place holder until I can figure out how to remove the ghost lines when saving...
Also I minified the image and save on top a normal one, I just remembered when you say that...
Thank you so much Kieran.
Have you tried exporting as SVG and using that, rather than a PNG? It would probably save on the size as well.
Well, the plan was to use it as an SVG and make some of the parts go against then mouse direction but when I used it as a background it was showing the ghost lines...
So I decided to just go plain jane
So it still had the ghost lines even though you exported it as SVG? That's very odd, if you would like to try it again I'd be happy to take a look and see if I can identify the issue.
how Nice Gilli! That's really kind.
Look I took a screenshot.
Screenshot is not so helpful since I can't check out the SVG itself, it almost looks like borders in your screenshot though, very odd. I work with SVGs a lot and I have never seen this issue. Can you export that image from figma as SVG and send it to me?
here is the File

You have full hand if you need to.
thank you for helping out Gilli !
Of course if you want to, I could make an cardboard and give you the link? it would easier I guess ?
I'm happy to help and glad it worked, it looks crisp clear now. (For some reason I can't reply to your other reply since the thread is too deep or something?)
Yeah, it is too long the conversation...
It looks fine, but I will make it a bit different. The size is a bit wierd...
Yeah like I thought your items are on a sub-pixel. You can see it for the x value in this screenshot: https://gilli.xyz/index.php/s/NmzMTHpjgd4x3W6
It's
1121.25 but you want it to be 1121 with no fractions. It looks like all your layers are like this, so you would have to fix it for all of them. If you have affinity designer, then it has very powerful grid controls so you can make sure the items snap to a pixel grid. I never really used figma much so I'm not sure if they have any good support for it.
How nice Gilli, zi can try to do it manually.
Thank you so much for taking your time, that means a lot !
Hey I sorted it out.
I tested a new background, also using small squares BUT, this time I made a union of them so it became 1...
Thank you for your help !
Yeah I'm getting a 404 on that link. Now that I actually think about your issue some more, most likely your issue is sub-pixel related, so either your x or y coordinates are end in a .5 or your width perhaps. But sure send me the link and I'll check it out.
oh let me see that.
try this one. https://www.figma.com/file/Avz1OC4R3fTCvCYEFRaqlq/Pattern
Looks awesome, minimalism with great UX. One thing I would like to suggest you, please remove .html extension from all page URLs. You can do it simply by editing server config file if you are using apache/nginx.
Oh man, I guess I have to rewrite all the URLs
Thanks bro.
I know man..."is on the road map" ( now ) thank you for the suggestion ! Will have a look tonight. Cheers!
Cheers
Best wishes π€
Thanks mate ! I πͺπͺ
