It's just been a little more than a quarter when I decided to start something of my own and begin my not so glamorous entrepreneurial journey.
Every day has been a new fight and there's no winning.
This period has just been about trash talks, rejections, facing reality, discovering new sides of things, even new sides of myself, learning, fighting and upskilling.
Every week, I woke up to face new issues,
new dilemmas, new fights, new fuckups, new technicalities, new rejections, new doubts, new motivation, new inspiring people, new friends, new stories, new skill gaps, new learnings.
When you're outside the entrepreneurial cloud & read stories about how people managed their hardships in their journey, you feel motivated & gravitated towards doing something, but that's not reality.
The reality is much harder than the people in these stories would tell you.
Reading stories about how entrepreneurs handle uncertainties every day and actually handling uncertainties every day.
These are two different things. One can't understand it until one experience it.
I'm in no position to tell you what's right & what's wrong, I'm just sharing my experiences & the crux of every experience I have had is this-
Being an entrepreneur, starting something of your own isn't as hard as they tell you in the books & stories, it's much harder than that.
I think the most prominent ability you can have as an entrepreneur is to understand and apply this framework -
Do - Fuck Up - Learn - Do Again
The best element about this journey is that I got to discover myself, my strengths, my weaknesses, empathy towards certain things, patience, the limit to which I was pushing myself and much more. I enjoy the process and this is all I could ask.
This is just the beginning.
I'm here to stay.
See you on the other side.
