New here, this community thing is tough but I want to push through and connect

Hey all.. just found out about Indie Hackers a few weeks ago from someone else that's in SUS @ YC (the online one that anyone can join).

I've since gone through the site and listened to a good dozen episodes of the IH podcast. Being the "completionist" that I am, I started the podcasts from the beginning, so I've got a ways to go until I catch up, but I love them so far!

I've never been good at interacting with communities, and I'm ~6 months in to developing my MVP... yeah I know, it shouldn't take that long, but I was trying to make it perfect before introducing it to the world or even beta customers, which I now realize was a mistake.

Anyways, it'll still take me a little while to get the courage to show it to you here.. partially because frankly I'm scared someone on here can do it better than me, and they'll take the idea and run, and also because I'm a little fearful of negative feedback. From what I've seen of this community thus far though, those fears have slowly been washing away.

I look forward to connecting and hopefully not just getting feedback from you all but also contributing as well.
