Here is the landing page for PanelScout - https://www.panelscout.com/
I build sites freelance sometimes, and often it's difficult getting an idea of what the client likes/expects from you. I built PanelScout as a platform for web developers and agencies to get a clear idea in the early design stage of what their project scope is, and the client's preferences design wise.
Does the landing page work well? What would you change?
Cheers,
Charlie
The idea is interesting and I can see this to be potential time and frustration saver down the line for designers.
The message of what you offer is laid out in a clear manner. I have no problem understanding. I'm wondering though if what you offer here can be gotten from free tools like Google Forms?
Thanks Welly, glad it’s clear. I think the questionnaire bit could be achieved with google forms, I would ideally like to expand on the design/features tabs as these are very important, and not easily achievable elsewhere but it’s difficult finding the best way to do that.
I’ve pondered using screenshots of other sites but I think it’s against copyright, building tens of smaller sites myself with different designs that I screenshot etc but I don’t feel that would solve the problem effectively. Hopefully from aspects of the feedback on here I can come up with a better idea!
Thanks again
I get the value proposition but there is a lot of text. You could also work a bit on polish.
Show me the screenshots/videos, how exactly are you solving the pain?
An example of a landing page I really admire is https://sentry.io - really well done.
Thanks for replying, I’m going to try and cut down on the text in that case. I like how sentry separate their key points with a separate screenshot so I may implement that.
I’d like to put in a video instead of the full page screenshot at the bottom, but I haven’t found any good platforms to build one on. You don’t know any of the top of your head do you?
Thanks
Don’t know of good video platforms. On Mac, I use iMovie to make something decent. For something professional you may want to try upwork.com
