Been iterating on https://wavey.tips landing page for around 7/8 months here and there. Finally feels like it's in an okay place visually, does it do a good enough job though?
Looking for open and honest thoughts here ✌️
It's a very unique design - would be nice to know more about the service before the prompt to integrate my email account. As a first time visitor I would like to know more about what to expect from the service.
Looks clean and modern. I like the emoji theme.
When it loads, I don't know exactly what to look at (maybe make the bubbles dimmer or somehow draw my eye to the call-to-action).
Love the create, add share section. It perfectly clarified your product, then the little video made it totally clear.
My browser blocked auto-play on your chrome add-on video(not sure what you can do about that) so it just showed the first frame, which was confusing.
I think the buttons should say something like "make a list" not sign in with google. But some people might disagree with me on that one, hopefully others chime in.
All in all, I think it's clean and clearly shows what your product is.
Thanks for pointing out the lack of video play, will have a look into that! 🙏
Also had the same thought on the bubbles, good to see it's come up consistently :)

To be honest I feel like the cards around the edges of the screen distracted me from the hero text. I had to stop for a minute and refocus to see what the page was about. I like how you have the video for chrome on there, that helps a lot!
+1 for this. Nonetheless the site looks clean and nice, but might need just a slight color/tone change to draw attention at the hero text
Thank you both for pointing out the hero text + CTA, will look into toning this area down in busy-ness!
Looks really great! A dark mode switch would be perfect!
I'd like to see some indication/pointer to next part.
At first sight I was like "where is the rest? Why do I have to sign up?" "for what?".
Only after some seconds I was like "okay, I need to scroll down"
Overall it looks greats! I would prefer if the cards on the edges were further in on the page they. The look a bit "messy".
Also, when I logged in, I got a "page not found" with a "go back" button. That seems like a bug?
Looks like I've still got a routing bug if that's happened! Thank you for pointing out :) 🕷
My pleasure!
As others have said the cards in the hero background are distracting. Also for me, I couldn't draw the link between them and the product. Are they meant to represent individual lists or items on a list? The logos for Twitter, Dribble etc. I also found confusing as it tends to imply that you have some sort of integration with them.
The rest of the copy I think is clean and clear.
This is advice I took, it now says "Create a list!" seems to have worked slightly better :)
Thank you for the tip!
Looks great! Like other people said maybe not have the cards at the edge of the page, because it's a bit distracting. The hover effect on the lists at the bottom is nice, with the little animation. The dimming on the hover on the 'Sign in with Google' is not my favorite. Maybe a different effect would be nicer. Also the cards on the list pages really blend in with the white background. I would add a border-shadow to the cards, or change the background to be off-white.
