New Marketer

I'm not even sure where to start. I graduate in 2 months, I hear I have a plethora of options but I have no clue where to start my marketing career. Oh and there's another important detail, I live in South Korea. Anyone have any insight on finding work as a marketer will minimal experience? Should I freelance?
