As someone who uses Stripe checkout how's this different than what Stripe already offers you with their payment links? i.e. https://buy.stripe.com/8wM6ox521eP558Y6op

  Hey! Thanks for taking a look. So theres no official API for Stripe Payment links yet, this is the first one purpose built for it. You can't currently create payment links programatically via Stripe, but with this API you can. It's not a replacement for Stripe payment links, it's more like a battery pack. All PriceBlocs payment links create a Stripe Checkout session.
  
  You can also:
  
  include multiple products
  
  configure any payment method type
  
  capture payment method details only
  
  configure authorized only payments
  
  charge any one time amount without being tied to a product
  
  set tax rates or enable automatic taxes (if your Stripe account uses Stripe Tax)
  
  capture tax ids
  
  pre-apply discounts
  
  do dynamic lookups based on customer email / id to prevent duplicate customer creation
  
  set metadata which gets copied into the payment_intent / subscription on creation
  
  pass a client_reference_id
  
  support for the upcoming cart abandonment features
  
  get checkout start and completion analytics
  
  set shipping rates

I recently finished the beta of a new payment link API built on top of Stripe Checkout.

You can get all the good parts of payment links, with some additional features like:
- pre applied coupons
- dynamic customer lookup
- enabling automatic taxes
- configuring success and cancel urls
