New SEO App Helped Us Grow Domain Rating from 0.5 to 21 – What Features Would You Need?

I'm a web developer working on a new project called RankFaster—an SEO app designed to help new websites and projects get noticed without the high costs or complexity of major SEO platforms. Over the years, I've launched a few small projects, and my co-founder, Dom (@DG_9_6), has built and sold multiple micro-SaaS products. We both kept running into the same problem: getting initial visibility for a new product on a budget.

I’ve often had to juggle tools like Ahrefs, SpyFu, and various AI content generators, along with hiring freelancers for backlink building. This process is both costly and time-consuming. I realized that 70-80% of my budget for new projects goes into SEO and marketing, even when I handle the development myself. That’s why we decided to build RankFaster—an SEO toolkit aimed at people launching new sites who need quick, effective results.

Here’s What RankFaster Offers So Far:

On-Page SEO Audit: Straightforward recommendations for fast SEO improvements.
Keyword Generator & Research: Generate keywords using a seed phrase or by analyzing a specified webpage's content. You’ll see insights like search volume, competition, and CPC.
AI-Powered Blog Writer: Create blog content around specific keywords to start driving traffic.
Domain Ranking & Keyword Tracking: Track your domain rating over time and monitor keyword positions.
Backlink Building: Rent or buy links to build authority.

The app will run on a credit-based pricing model. So, unlike traditional subscription-based tools, you only pay for what you actually use. We are aiming to keep RankFaster accessible and budget-friendly for anyone starting with SEO for the first time.

Real Results from an Early Prototype

The core of RankFaster was initially a set of backend scripts that I used for another project, StartFast (a SaaS starter kit). With these scripts, I was able to grow StartFast’s Domain Rating (DR) from 0.5 to 21 over a short period, without a full SEO team or extensive resources. Now, we’re packaging this functionality into a web app that others can use to achieve similar results.
