We just launched an updated, homepage, tour page and pricing page for our project management software: Project.co. Please let me know what you think:
We based the messaging from customer feedback about what's important to them and our own experience of searching round for the right tool to use to mange your projects. We also wanted to include our message of having built this for our own agency and the success it's brought us in terms of efficiency and clarity of the work we have on at any time as a team.
I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts.
love the design (especially the colors), love the graphics, i totally understand what the product does (and i'm convinced that it solves a real problem!).
i think there's too much copy. generally speaking i think people "scan," but don't "read," when it comes to sales pages. imho i'd try to cut out at least 1/2 the words.
also, i think you're abusing the bold text in the copy (ie; too many bolded words). i just want to get hit with the most important ideas - rather than get a complete rundown of all the things the product can do.
i like testimonials, but personally i think the "5 stars" thing is a little cheesy. also, there's a lot of volume, but you have these BEAUTIFUL testimonial videos which feel kind of underemphasized. why not blow 'em up and make them a lot more prominent?
hope this helps, yall!
Thanks so much for this detailed feedback @johnsillings - Very kind of you t spend the time. I'll certainly make some updates to the page following this feedback :)
of course! excited to see the next version :)
@matt_byrom It looks good. Kudos!
Here's a point that stuck out to me, under the Data Processing Agreement; Return of Data portion:
"Processor shall promptly and in any event within 10 business days of the date of cessation of any Services involving the Processing of Company Personal Data (the “Cessation Date”), delete and procure the deletion of all copies of those Company Personal Data."
That makes me think that a data transfer is not plausible. Is this correct?
Thanks for the feedback on the site.
Thanks for digging into the DPA as well. We don't have a full data export function. Depending what data a company needed we could transfer data but what this really deals with is that data won't be lingering on a server once a company has deleted their account.
In my honest opinion, a full data export would provide potential customers with some peace of mind. One of the reasons that web/cloud-based PM solutions lag behind their desktop application counterparts, is the lack of transparency with data, more specifically, can they retrieve their data if you exit in a year and the co. gets broken apart? Having dealt with relational database systems for the better part of a decade, this is a real concern.
If you can address it properly, you'll be light years beyond much of your competition.
Good luck!
Thanks for the feedback. This is definitely something we'll add to our roadmap.
