New to Twitter. What are the first 3 things I should do to provide value for others?

Hey IH Fam!

I've been hearing a lot about the value that the dev and design community is giving and receiving on Twitter. To see for myself and join in on the fun, I just jumped back onto Twitter after not using it for about 5 years. (@jesselnieman)

I want to provide value for people. Right away, I am creating content and tools (like a free Webflow template) to share for free.

For those who have been on Twitter for a while, what are the first 3 things I should do to set myself up to provide value for others on the platform?

Excited to hear your thoughts!!

I grew my following from 300 to 37k followers, and I would say the biggest thing for me was focusing on what people wanted and creating more content in that area.

I'd also suggest you try to do things that don't scale. I actually ended up giving free resume reviews for my audience. Daniel Vassallo originally gave me a twitter profile review and I became one of his biggest fans! It really works!

I just wrote a blog post on this actually, https://www.crowdfox.io/post/how-to-grow-your-twitter-following.

Super helpful! Thanks for the feedback!

Looking at Crowdfox as a potential tool for sure.
