The site is great but I think you have put your bets on the wrong horses.
Why would you use that "travel companion" feature to market your site, instead of the awesome "we can find you an airbnb with your flight" feature?
Like really. Talk to your marketeer. Most people who travel alone. Want to meet people on their travels and not while traveling with them. But it is still valuable as a dating/Matchmaking site/feature.
