Newbie question
Morning, everybody. i am so glad I found this community to help me navigate as I begin my journey. i am a parent of a child with a unique set of needs as well as an educator. I want to create a community to help others with meeting the needs of all students.
As I said, this is all new to me and I wanted to start simple. I created a landing page on carrd.co so I can begin collecting subscribers. A newsletter creator i follow suggested carrd and then using aweber to collect and create the newsletter. He also mentioned creating a zap on zapier to integrate them. This is where I start to get lost. Aweber is not listed on carrd...should I just use one of the ones that is integrated already such as convertkit, emailoctopus, or sendfox? Is there a way to connect aweber? He suggested aweber for its simplicity and being a newbie.
Looking for the simple steps to begin this journey. I appreciate you reading this and any help that you can give. Thanks for your time.
Choosing a direct integration will save you money in the long run as with AWeber, you'll need to pay for two platforms as your community and mailing list grows.
The best platform will depend on your needs – at this point in time, what do you need to do with email? Do you have a rough idea of what features you might need?
I work for EmailOctopus, which was created by Indie Hackers actually, so I might be a little biased but if you let me know what you need from an email solution, I can let you know whether this would be a good fit.
