Good list, but if you are looking to start a newsletter, just use Substack. It works well, and they actually do a little to help you grow. People are familiar with them already.
Thank you! I did start with Substack but was looking for a more full featured blog that I could customize further, so I eventually ended up with Ghost.
Thanks this is helpful. I've used Mailchimp, beehive, and convert kit. There are parts of all of them I wish I could combine.
