Many little steps can add up to something great. This is at least what I believe is happening to me. Many little steps that I do bring me one step forward in my endeavor to become an indiehacker. So what happened since last time:
Expensive NFTs
So I have created NFTs as an experiment. With Art that I had laying around for some time now. I have used to teach artists in digital marketing and was inspired to create something myself. But I never thought to publish it anywhere. However, it was nice to see my art somewhere live..even though I do not have any followers on Rarible so far. It was quite expensive though. My mistake, once I realized I am not able to mint with my wallet (Samsung Wallet) I should have stopped minting, but I repeated it until I ran out of money without realizing that it charges me for trying to mint every time. In the end, I managed to upload all the pieces. Looking at the artists that I taught back then..there will be none of them on this platform soon. For now, it would be too expensive for them to pay 50 dollars per piece on a platform. Have a look yourself, and if you are on Rarirble, a follow would make my day https://rarible.com/items?tab=coll.
Final BMCs
My projects are still in the early phase and I do not believe that everything I do right now will be my focus going forward. Kill your darlings is one of the most memorable startup advice that I have ever heard...and I need to kill a lot of darlings. I reduced it to 6 audiences that I want to serve or where I find problems that could be solved. The question is, are these expensive enough problems to work on or just a fluke. These audiences also line up nicely with my area of expertise/interest.
I have started to use the Business model canvas, and funny enough, it started to dawn on me, that not all of them are really good ideas. It is as if you take the curtain away and see clearly for the first time. So I reduced it to those audiences I feel like there is a future.
Ycombinator
My next step is to talk to users that have the problem. I do have a template for user interviews. As a marketeer, this part should be easier. I heard Y Combinators podcast - specifically, the first episode of startup school- love that so much. Really good advice on how to go about talking to users.
Strategyzer
Another tool that I use is the book "Testing Business Ideas". It helped me to articulate my Hypothesis. I do have all the books of Strategyzer and it is such a wealth of knowledge within there.
