Nine months of Jobven, in two numbers

When I posted the v0.1 launch here in December, Jobven had 10,000 job postings from 150 employer career pages.

Today it is 1,291,389 postings from 5,479 companies.

The approach never changed: read employer career pages and applicant tracking systems directly, never job boards or repost networks. Most of the nine months went on the unglamorous half, detecting when a posting comes down so that a role which no longer exists stops being served.

The 1.29M postings is impressive, but the real differentiator seems to be removing dead jobs. Are users actually finding Jobven more useful because stale listings disappear, or is dataset breadth still the main value?
