No-code customizable documentation template

I have a few products listed on CodeCanyon. Creating documentation is necessary for these products. Envato recommends using Documenter v2.0 for creating product documentation.

I used Documenter v2.0 for a while for my documentation needs as it requires no coding skills unlike other, much better and beautiful HTML documentation templates out there.

During this time, I was also using Carrd to create simple one-page websites for other projects. I thought why not use Carrd to create documentation for my products listed on CodeCanyon.

Carrd's drag & drop builder made it a breeze to create minimal and beautiful documentation for my products. Since Carrd allows you to download your websites created on their platform, it was perfect for my documentation needs for my Envato products.

So, I created this template called - AcuDocs. It is an easy to customize documentation builder for your Envato Products.

Your feedback is appreciated. :)

Yes, it sure is. But, GitBook doesn't allow the documentation to be exported in static HTML anymore.

Ah interesting, i didn't see that as a requirement.

I plan on building a hosted docs with export in the near future.

Any features you think are a must?

That's interesting. Will this be a drag and drop builder?

          1. 1

            Kind of.

It will be heavily templates so you can start quickly, but will have global blocks you can use to make it very custom at the same time.

              Okay, that sounds great.

Will a user be able to import templates on your platform? Given that the template was created on your platform itself.

Currently, in Carrd, a site built with Carrd can be exported but cannot be imported. I really wish there was a functionality to do this on a platform.

It will be possible to do.

We already have a blogging CMS and once a large customer asks us to import a template we will code it up (very easy to do with how the application has been structured)

                  That's great.

                  Looking forward to it. :)
