no-code website builder like Carrd

Hey all, I'm advising a startup that has a lot of business clients in a market where they still don't all have websites, not even a basic landing page. I am sure there is an opportunity for him here.

Does anyone know of an easy to use open-source page builder similar to Carrd (built by @ajlkn of this parish)? Or maybe a commercial one that can be licenced/whitelabelled?

hey @kylegawley, I'll definitely take a look. Please email me a link to a demo of it to try out.

hey @kylegawley I replied to your email but it bounced. Let me know when fixed.

Strange, what was the bounce error? Try hello@kylegawley.com

            It was the hello@ one...

              Does kyle [at] usegravity.app work?

@kylegawley built Hackr with this type of user in mind. You can even A/B test ideas out all on a simple landing page. https://hackr.page/

    Interesting idea.

If you're open to not having it whitelabel but reduced price (due to local websites with low traffic) feel free to dm.

hey @volkandkaya - thanks but I can already see from the screengrab on your site that it is still low-code rather than no-code for my idea ;-)

      1. 1

It has a new no-code mode.

It was already no-code but no-coders love smashing buttons so I had to hide options.

I think WordPress is the best option because it is opensource and free plugins can help him to create website without any knowledge of coding.

oh no, not WP - it's 2021 you know, low/no-code has moved on since 2005 ;-)

I am looking for something really simple like Carrd. Anyone can pick a template and build a page. Even Webflow is too complex for my idea. And the idea is for the business owners to do it themselves - even an electrician or plumber who hate computers could do one.

hey @volkandkaya, happy for you to email me some details for a demo. I have a vision on what I need in this case though, and it is very much a Carrd-like user experience; and not a webflow-experience.

Also just reread this. Webflow is one of the most advanced builders on the market.

There is a huge gap between Carrd and Webflow.

All the opensource stuff is ... UX wise and hard to change later on.

Is your idea still active? I am working on such a no-code builder. I would be happy with the collaboration.
