I would go with an explanation. Not necessarily a demo, but at least explaining the value upfront.
I'm not going to dig further on your page if my interest is not caught. Good copy and design to explain what you're doing and the value you're bringing is essential. I had to check your product page to understand what you're doing.
It doesn't need to be complicated, but start small and iterate.
