no more getting banned on reddit !

Reddit posting in 2026 is about to get a whole lot easier

Every founder has been there. You craft the perfect post, hit submit, and then... banned. Or your content gets removed by a moderator. It's beyond frustrating.

That's why I'm relaunching redchecker.io.

Here's what it does:

It checks your content against subreddit rules before you post. You get a score out of 10 so you know exactly where you stand.

It rewrites your content to comply with the rules while keeping your message intact.

It optimizes for SEO with long tail keywords since Reddit posts rank incredibly well on Google.

It tells you if you have enough karma to post in your target subreddit.

If your karma is low or you're just starting out, it suggests subreddits where you can build karma quickly.

Who is this for?

Indie hackers, solo founders, marketers, and anyone trying to grow on Reddit without getting shadowbanned every other day.

I built this as a Chrome extension because I was tired of wasting hours writing posts that never saw the light of day.

If you want to check it out: redchecker.io

Follow me on X to see how I'm building this in public.

Quick question for the community: Have you ever been banned on Reddit and felt like throwing your laptop out the window? What happened?

Funny how I don't know that reddit bans

      the pain is insane fr

This was personal to me. Reddit bans seem arbitrary until you understand that they are based on context rather than content quality. ~
Incorrect tone, incorrect account history, incorrect subreddit immediate elimination.

I found that thinking in three layers was helpful:

    account trust (age + karma)

subreddit culture (the things that get upvoted)

    post-intent (extractive vs. helpful)

The majority of people ignore the first two and start writing the post right away.

Are you curious about which aspect initially caused you the most difficulty: misinterpreting subreddit norms or karma thresholds?

    1. 1

karma plays a important role in reddit initially , even if your content is good with low karma points You might get banned , when you grow ,subreddit rules play a crucial role

Ha, the Reddit struggle is real. I've had posts removed so many times for accidentally breaking rules I didn't even know existed. The karma threshold thing is especially frustrating when you're just starting out.

Cool that you're building this as a Chrome extension , checking rules before posting makes so much sense. The SEO angle is smart too, Reddit posts do rank surprisingly well these days.

Quick question: does it work for comments too, or just posts? Sometimes I get flagged even on replies.

it works on posts for now ! will optimise it for comments later forsure thanks man ! do try it and let me know how it helps you

What a great idea. I spent too much time perfecting my side business that when I came to talk about it on reddit, I worked out my karma score was not good enough to post on the relevant channels.

Love it. I was reading your post, and the first thing that came to my mind was the extension part, so good one. If you could automate it, even better (prevent sending if something is really wrong)

    1. 1

      yes it does that mate

  12. 1

This is actually solving a real pain. Reddit bans are brutal 😅

Curious — does it also help with shadowbans and subreddit-specific rules?

    1. 1

      yes it does mate

I can definitely relate to this. We recently created a Reddit account for Betterlytics, and within a week it was permanently banned, without leaving any comments or posting anything at all. To this day, we still have no clear idea why it happened.

Our best guess is that it may have been related to our office IP being associated with multiple employee Reddit accounts, and a new account suddenly appearing from the same IP might have been flagged as suspicious or automated behavior. But honestly, it's hard to know.

Either way, this is very much a real pain point for us, so we'll definitely be giving your product a try to see how it works in practice.

Quick question: does your product also identify specific posting requirements or restrictions (karma, account age, etc.) for individual subreddits?

    1. 1

      hey !
do checkout it will help you a lot
it will check your karma points, and the account age ! and will suggest you to first improve your karma points , and then let you engage in any subreddit !

Will give it a shot 🙏
