I enjoyed going through the links you had in the article. It's almost like The Onion for personal development. :-) That type of content could be a funny meme account.

I have a theory that most people consume learning content for entertainment, not personal growth. They keep reading the next article or taking the next course to help them feel like they are making progress.

The alternative is to actually do the work. That's too hard and boring for most.

Advice like 'do the work' can seem useless and obvious, but it's actually the missing factor for many.
