No need to accept ownership of a product on IH?
@csallen my cofounder added me as the cofounder of a small side project on Indie Hackers today (@sparkloop).
At no point did I have to confirm (or even get a notification) that I'd been added as a cofounder though. Maybe something worth looking into?
There should probably be a confirmation or something, but honestly, it's not something I'll get to for a long, long time.
I think the assumption usually is that you have agreed to take that position. I'm not sure whether there is need for that but maybe just for the sake of proof?
I'm sure it's not the most pressing thing on @csallen's mind right now, but it seems a little off (or broken) that I can create a new product and just add random people as cofounders without them needing to verify it. I know IHers has some kind of approval process for new products on the site, but it still seems to show up while the product is pending verification.
Not urgent, just weird.
