I just need to get this off my chest over thinking..
Maybe I'm preaching to the entire group here,
but I don't think a lot of people are seeing the bigger picture.
The future of digital music is gonna be heavily AI-assisted.
Every DAW, every plugin, every mixing tool will eventually have AI baked right into it.
The whole "Did you use AI?" debate is gonna be completely obsolete.
Everything digital is moving toward intelligence.
If a tool can help musicians create faster, better, or more efficiently,
people are gonna use that shit. If one platform refuses,
another will embrace it and smoke the competition.
Think about where this is heading.
We'll have tools that generate MIDI,
suggest chord progressions, build drum patterns, arrange songs, mix tracks, create automations, master audio, and even spit out perfect stems.
At what point does the line between "AI music" and "human music"
stop making any goddamn sense?
Maybe the real question isn't "Was AI used?"
Maybe the question is:
"Did the artist create something worth listening to?".
