NoCode Shopify plugins?
Hey all!
I'm sure we're all aware of the amazing potential massive market places like Shopify offer for makers looking to reach an audience.
But, is this accessible to NoCoders?
Is there something i can use to build a plugin for shopify using zero code?
I'm developing some apps for Shopify at the moment, took me sometime to figure out how to implement things since they docs are not the best.
Basically there are a lot of nocode tools to help you build a webapp, but I don't know of any that can use to connect with Shopify API.
Yeah, also started my app as a Shopify app, and I'm not sure what you'd be able to do with no-code. Shopify apps do often include a lot of automation which seems no-code-able, but there's also a lot of boiler plate you gotta get first.
My guess is not right now. But might be possible in the future.

It depends how you want this to manifest.
I don't think there's a way to create a nocode "plugin" in the same way that a Shopify app can be installed by an admin user using oAuth, giving the app access to the API.
But I think it would be absolutely possible to create a nocode "productized service" where a Shopify store owner buys your productized service, then adds you as an admin to the store, and then you install / set up the necessary tools and workflows. You could even potentially automate that setup process.
Personally I think there's tons of potential to approach Shopify store owners and offer them automation setup services for things like zapier.com, to help make their work more efficient.
I'd really like to see someone turn Bannerbear.com and Zapier.com into a "productized service" like this. They could offer a set of exclusive templates and offer automated design services to Shopify store owners.
