We are all learning these days what it’s like to live in confined spaces. I, like many others, believe this new domestic imprisonment will majorly impact our shopping habits and consequently force retailers, that so far comfortably relied on the steady income from their brick and mortar stores, to shift all their resources towards their online offering.
But this shift will take time and during this period many opportunities will emerge for said retailers, marketers, and entrepreneurs to win over consumers and their hard-earned dollars.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been fortunate to co-own a (relatively successful) online cigar store and figured I’d share my learnings about what made it work and more importantly, what didn’t work.
