Not a Good Product Launch

Hey Guys,

So I launched on product hunt last week but it was meh! Not that great. Have read about people launching their products & getting insane traffic but it didn't go well for my course.

I guess mine was a video course so doesn't qualify as an exciting product but would love to hear the experience from everyone of how did their launch go.

Here is the PH Link: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/facebook-ads-targeting-101

Suggestions/Feedback are welcome :)

I never had much luck with Product Hunt either (I gave you an upvote :)).

The best traffic I got so far for my articles was getting on the first/second page of the HackerNews. Also, Reddit can drive good traffic, however, have a thick skin as some people can be nasty with their comments. If you decide to go with the Reddit route, make sure you offer value to the readers - posting a link to your paid course will definitely not work :)

PH is tough. I'm in the middle of a launch right now (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/trianglify-io-2) but the PH platform really tends to skew towards "curators" and people with an existing audience to signal boost submissions.

Ah yes. Isn't it true for all platforms? Without an existing audience or following, it becomes really tough to put the product out there.

      Upvoted btw! :)
