Not sure how to attract visitors anymore

I have been running whenarethefights.com for over a year now and the daily users have just dropped off. I don't want to have to spam message boards like reddit to get users. Any ideas? or feedback?

I think the website needs more content to be more SEO friendly and to keep all users for a longer time... Consider maybe in starting a blog, newsletter, or other content-rich features to keep those users busy...

Have visitors opt into email reminders. Just set up a newsletter that goes out about the days fight

I like this, and I'd actually be a user for this. But there's no built in retention.
You need to think of a way for users to interact with the site, and become a part of it. If it's just a posting board of the next upcoming fights, you'll always have users dropping off.
I am planning on adding users to the site this weekend. I just need something for them to do, you're right. Maybe some sort of chat/forum for each fight.
