Noticing some weird site visitors - is this anything nefarious?
So in the last couple of days, I've got a whole bunch of "unique" visitors who appears to be (according to Google Analytics) from one city, uses the same OS (Windows), and has... a 1024x768 resolution.
Is this more likely to be a) some folks using a standard IT setup, b) some sort of malicious attempt to crack my site security, or c) a time-traveller who's found my website in 2004?
What do you think?
My guess would be bots, I've seen a few variations of Google Analytics spam over the years, and while I haven't seen that in particular, it wouldn't surprise me.
Hmm ok, that makes sense.
Get a session recorder service so you can spy some more.
Sounds like a waste of time, let's call it a scrapper bot.
